Land of People Instructor Guidelines
Rules - All LoP instructors are appointed by the LoP founder. Being a LoP instructor is making a promise to all LoP members that he or she will be more committed to LoP. LoP instructors shall consider the instructor positions seriously and make Taekwondo pattern teaching as an important part of their lives. All LoP instructors must be LoP members and age 18 or older. A city is the smallest unit for LoP instructors and that every LoP instructor holds a session at the city level. No more than one instructor can be assigned to each city, state, or country. No LoP member can become a multi-tiered instructor. However, both tier 1 and tier 2 instructors are assigned to their own cities and that they are responsible to teach LoP members within their cities as tier 1 or tier 2 instructors. For example, if a tier 1 instructor is assigned to a certain city, no tier 2 or tier 3 instructor can be assigned to the same city. All LoP instructors must hold the highest LoP Dan among LoP members within their assigned cities, states, or countries. In case of absence of LoP instructor for any reason, the highest ranking member in the session shall teach all other LoP members as a temporary instructor. Being a temporary instructor is a voluntary position and that no monetary compensation will be provided. LoP compensates its instructors with commission as appreciation for instructors' leadership efforts rather than as a wage for instructors' labor. Thus, LoP instructors must understand that teaching Taekwondo patterns is also a part of learning process for all LoP members and that teaching Taekwondo patterns shall not be considered as work. LoP instructors shall understand that LoP is a horizontal organization rather than a vertical organization and that all LoP members learn and teach one another as comrades who share a common interest and objective throughout their lives. LoP members who are qualified for commission shall be compensated on the last session of every month. In the event that the last session is cancelled, the LoP members shall be compensated on the following session. LoP instructors shall understand that all LoP members have right to learn Taekwondo patterns at any location, and that LoP instructors shall treat all LoP members equally regardless of their initial cities. In the event that there is a conflict of interest between Land of People and LoP instructors, Land of People has exclusive rights to remove or replace the LoP instructors. Please be advised that the removal or replacement of the LoP instructors does not deprive their LoP membership.
